FAQs

What is the difference between a Doula and a Midwife?

A midwife can deliver your baby and offer medical advice. A doula does not provide medical advice. A birth doula provides physical, educational and emotional support.

Do you offer anything before or after the birth?

Before birth, I am available to answer all your questions and happy to offer help with your birth plan, hospital bag packing list, home-call energy sage cleansing. After birth I offer an hour follow-up postpartum visit within 10 days after the birth of the baby.

How much does it cost?

Because every pregnancy, delivery and baby is so unique, pricing varies. Please inquire for more information.

What if I go into labor at a different time than my due date?

Currently, I only take one client per birth month and plan my personal life extensively around your birth due date once contract is in place. However, in an unlikely instance I have a back up doula/options in place to secure your peace of mind.

What items do you provide?

I am able to create a spa like environment by bringing a salt lamp, battery operated candles, tiny string lights, affirmation cards, essential oils, cold pack/ice towel, music, massager and more.

Iā€™m a first time mom, can you recommend any advice or resources?

I definitely can recommend care and guidance or point you in the right direction. Please ask me for more information.
